Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic technology recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for R&D collaboration
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor a team of 5+ innovation specialists in rapid prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech trends: quantum computing, generative AI, or neurotech
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology roadmapping (TOGAF or equivalent)
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to commercial deployment
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex tech to executive audiences
