Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI) with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop technology integration roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technical capabilities into innovative product concepts
- Analyze competitive tech landscapes and patent landscapes for strategic positioning
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of translating research into commercial applications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical abilities with data-driven decision making
- Understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
