Responsibilities

- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Drive adoption of sustainable and ethical technology practices
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with emerging tech ecosystems (quantum, AI, blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong track record of launching innovative products/services
- Expertise in technology forecasting and market trend analysis
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology management (e.g., CTO Academy)
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Experience scaling technology teams in high-growth environments
