Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AR, neuro-interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership on future technology implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech forecasting (Gartner hype cycle experience preferred)
- Proven track record scaling innovation initiatives to enterprise level
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or MBA
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) a plus
