Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030, aligning with organizational vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through market analysis, patent research, and academic partnerships
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors with data-driven impact projections
- Build and maintain relationships with technology incubators, research universities, and industry consortia
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future technology adoption
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, thought leadership publications, and patent development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 12+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and P&L responsibilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
