Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with company vision and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into existing and new product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles with 3+ years in emerging tech assessment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
