Responsibilities

- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-focused innovations including decentralized systems and biotech interfaces
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to align technology adoption with business goals
- Develop patent strategies and competitive analysis for next-generation tech solutions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage vendor partnerships and academic collaborations for advanced R&D
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies (blockchain, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for 2026 technologies
- Experience building and scaling cross-disciplinary innovation teams
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research institutions
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology management preferred
