- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026+ technology applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors with ROI projections
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot projects and technology acquisitions
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal technology foresight team
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology fields
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to global implementation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
