You'll lead high-impact projects spanning sustainable tech, neural interfaces, and autonomous systems while maintaining rigorous ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technological adoption across enterprise and consumer sectors
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable biotechnology
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-machine symbiosis and cognitive augmentation
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological innovation with business objectives
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-technology co-evolution
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/MSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Minimum 8 years experience in emerging technology R&D or strategic innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotechnology, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work implications of automation
- Proven track record of leading cross-disciplinary innovation projects
- Strong background in technology ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, etc.)
