Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Produce quarterly trend reports and risk assessments for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Partner with R&D to identify disruptive innovation opportunities and accelerate time-to-market
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trajectories (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation (articles, whitepapers, books)
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
