Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish industry partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory implications
- Build and mentor a future-focused innovation incubator
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Published thought leadership on technology futures (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Advanced degree in relevant technical field or MBA with tech specialization
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
