Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026+) through market research, patent analysis, and academic partnerships
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology innovation pipeline aligned with 5-year strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum computing, AI, and biotech
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future technologies into development roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement
- Build and nurture relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment and roadmap development
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFIP, CIPM)
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
