Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes through proprietary research
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in launching 3+ disruptive technologies to market
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
- Expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (AI, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight designation preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentations
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$2M
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major platforms
