Responsibilities
- Lead market research and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026-2030 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for R&D investments in AI, IoT, and sustainable energy systems
- Prototype and validate next-gen technologies through agile development cycles
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology adoption and implementation
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting tech innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and translating insights into strategy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication abilities for executive-level presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M and cross-functional teams of 15+
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
