Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive innovations (quantum, bio-computing, etc.)
- Partner with VCs to identify strategic investment opportunities in frontier tech
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching technology pilots with $1M+ budgets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning skills
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
