- Architect and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) for competitive advantage
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and C-level executives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across 3-5 concurrent future-tech initiatives
- Build and lead a high-performing team of futurists and technology architects
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and tech conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining tech products (portfolio required)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (minimum 3 industry articles)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting
