Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI ethics, Web3) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate future technologies into product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor boards
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for early-stage innovation
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment
- Lead scenario planning for technological disruption and market adaptation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (demonstrated via published reports)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and risk assessment frameworks
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
