Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor committees
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Author white papers on future tech implications for global policy and industry standards
- Mentor junior strategists and build external partnerships with academic institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant contributor)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent training
