Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year impact analysis
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-backed insights
- Manage vendor partnerships and pilot programs for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing long-term tech roadmaps (3-5 year horizon)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in emerging tech (e.g., AWS ML Specialty, Google AI) preferred
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and boards
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems
