Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI)
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis and scenario planning for 2026 tech landscape shifts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, tech talks, and internal R&D initiatives
- Monitor regulatory/policy developments affecting tech adoption and advise on compliance strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, bio-convergence)
- Experience leading cross-continental tech initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization or patent development
- Fluency in English with multilingual capabilities highly valued
