Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2-4 year adoption cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to pilot deployment
- Partner with R&D to translate future trends into actionable R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership on technology futures for industry publications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering (MS/PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech roles
- Proven experience with AI/ML, blockchain, or quantum computing implementation
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Track record of scaling experimental technologies to enterprise solutions
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Certification in technology innovation management (e.g., CDIO, CTO Academy)
