Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct horizon scanning and technology forecasting across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology roadmaps and impact assessments to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through workshops, hackathons, and thought leadership
- Monitor global regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends and driving innovation initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications preferred
