Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging domains including AI ethics, sustainable tech, and spatial computing
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through patent analysis, startup scouting, and academic partnerships
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused KPIs
- Represent company at global tech summits and shape industry standards
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining tech products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech verticals (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or Technology Strategy certification preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Experience scaling tech teams across multiple continents
