Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing and decentralized systems
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI tracking
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on joint research projects
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members
- Mentor a team of 12 engineers and researchers
- File 3+ patents annually in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum projects to commercial viability
- Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in blockchain, neuromorphic computing, or carbon-negative tech
- Strong network with Silicon Valley VCs and research institutions
- Published thought leadership in Nature or IEEE journals
- Experience managing >$10M R&D budgets
