Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and present future scenario models to executive leadership, quantifying potential risks and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, tech incubators, and industry disruptors
- Create annual Future Impact Reports translating foresight into R&D priorities and capital allocation
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
- Design and facilitate immersive workshops to embed future literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their implications
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFIF, CFP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations with measurable ROI
