Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with future market demands
- Conduct scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and global stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports for industry leadership
- Manage cross-functional teams executing future-proof R&D projects
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or foresight consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for diverse audiences
- Published thought leader in future-focused publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $5M for R&D initiatives
- Portfolio of successful future-strategy implementations
