Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for market entry and competitive positioning
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product lifecycles
- Produce quarterly trend reports with data-driven risk/opportunity analyses
- Advise executive leadership on ethical implications of disruptive innovations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies' societal impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis
