Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual future-state forecasts for 2026+ across tech, climate, and socio-economic domains
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market gaps
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
- Design and facilitate strategic planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Author thought leadership content positioning our company as a future-shaping force
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development roadmaps
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation pipeline maturity and adoption rates
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $1M+ budgets
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
