Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast industry shifts by 2026
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning R&D with market opportunities and societal needs
- Lead interdisciplinary workshops to ideate breakthrough products and services
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Author thought leadership reports and present to investors and stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with $5M+ budgets
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption cycles
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in tech/consulting
