Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and socio-economic shifts
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight into organizational priorities
- Manage a portfolio of future-focused prototype projects with $1M+ budgets
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity and future-readiness
- Build and lead a dedicated futures research team of 5+ specialists
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend extrapolation
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in tech sectors
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (e.g., white papers, books)
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
