Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology foresight strategies aligning with emerging trends in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI consciousness
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human augmentation systems
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making algorithms in high-stakes environments
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for quantum-resistant security protocols
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology with 8+ years of strategic tech planning
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms, neural lace architectures, or synthetic bioengineering
- Published work in Nature/Science on emerging technology ethics or singularity preparedness
- Portfolio of at least 3 commercialized technologies from concept to market adoption
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification program)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technological disruption scenarios
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
