Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms to enforce community guidelines and safety standards
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations with precision and discretion
- Provide exceptional user support through chat channels while maintaining brand voice and professionalism
- Document moderation actions and generate detailed reports for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proactive moderation strategies
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols for all user interactions
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on emerging digital trends and moderation best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional chat moderation or customer service experience in high-volume environments
- Exceptional written communication skills with impeccable grammar and cultural sensitivity
- Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and make sound judgment calls under pressure
- Proficiency with moderation tools like ModSquad, Modera, or Khoros
- Experience working with diverse audiences and handling sensitive topics
