Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Adhere to specific style guides and client requirements to ensure consistency.
- Manage file uploads and downloads securely using our proprietary transcription software.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient and client information.
- Meet daily and weekly production deadlines efficiently.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding difficult audio files or urgent requests.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Proficient typing skills (minimum 50 WPM).
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and spelling.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous transcription experience is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidates.
