Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement the foundational AI infrastructure supporting our next-gen Generative AI products.
- Model Optimization: Spearhead research into model compression, quantization, and edge deployment strategies for real-time inference.
- Technical Strategy: Define the 2026 technical roadmap, evaluating new frameworks (e.g., JAX, PyTorch 2.0) and hardware accelerators (GPUs, TPUs).
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of senior ML engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Production Maturity: Oversee the transition from prototype to production, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and security standards.
- Research & Development: Collaborate with academic partners to stay ahead of the curve in breakthrough AI methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to AI/ML systems architecture.
- Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, C++, and at least one major deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience designing distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex performance bottlenecks and scale training clusters efficiently.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategic roadmaps for stakeholders.
