Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Define and implement the high-level system architecture for 2026 autonomous fleet operations, ensuring scalability, resilience, and real-time processing capabilities.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of data scientists, ML engineers, and DevOps specialists to research and integrate emerging AI technologies.
- Strategic Planning: Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, specifically focusing on the transition to 2026 standards in AI safety and efficiency.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of sensor fusion, path planning algorithms, and edge computing solutions.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Establish best practices for code quality, conduct rigorous code reviews, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and optimize algorithms to reduce latency and improve decision-making speed in dynamic environments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead Architect role within Artificial Intelligence or Autonomous Systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and TensorFlow/PyTorch. Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related STEM field.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to balance technical debt with innovation, with a specific focus on long-term scalability.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience solving high-stakes problems in safety-critical systems.
