Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic vision for 2026, integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify disruptive market opportunities and competitive threats
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis using proprietary frameworks and third-party research
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership with data-backed insights
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Oversee the creation of innovation pipelines and prototyping labs for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation leadership within tech/consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal/economic implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems and futurist communities
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
