Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify high-value keywords and search trends relevant to our industry.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize web pages, meta tags, and content to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
- Technical SEO: Audit websites for technical issues, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content calendars and strategies.
- Link Building: Develop and execute strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative domains.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor rankings using tools like SEMrush and Google Analytics; prepare weekly/monthly reports on traffic and conversions.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Google Search Console.
- Analytics: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- HTML/CSS: Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to perform on-page optimizations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
