Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical audits of client websites to identify crawl errors, indexability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and internal linking strategies to enhance user experience and search engine crawling.
- Implement and manage Schema.org markup to improve search result appearance and rich snippets.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals and collaborate with developers to improve site speed and mobile-friendliness.
- Analyze search console data and server logs to diagnose technical ranking issues and propose actionable fixes.
- Ensure proper implementation of 301 redirects and canonical tags to prevent duplicate content penalties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Technical SEO, preferably within a remote or hybrid environment.
- Deep understanding of Google's Search Central guidelines, indexing, and crawling algorithms.
- Proficiency with technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript debugging.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
