Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across diverse industries
- Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar, clarity, and formatting consistency
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client materials
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize industry-specific software (ExpressScribe, FTR Gold) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve unclear audio segments
- Follow client-specific style guides and formatting requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 60 WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and medical/legal terminology
- 1+ years professional transcription experience (industry-specific a plus)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Ability to manage deadlines in a remote environment
- Basic computer skills and audio software proficiency
- Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities
