Responsibilities
- Convert Audio to Text: Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into accurate, verbatim text documents with a strict focus on grammar and punctuation.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards and client specifications.
- Deadline Management: Efficiently manage multiple files to meet strict daily and weekly deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Style Guide Adherence: Follow specific client style guides and terminology requirements for various industries.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive information and client data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional transcription experience or equivalent.
- Speed & Accuracy: Proven typing speed of at least 60 WPM with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language, including strong grammar and spelling proficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Equipment: Access to a high-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
