Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical, legal, and general audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client information
- Format documents according to client specifications (APA, AMA, etc.)
- Utilize industry-standard software (ExpressScribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking)
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and consistency
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology (BLS/CPR certification a plus)
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with 100% accuracy
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High-speed internet access and noise-free home office
- Reliable transcription equipment (headset, foot pedal)
