Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise solutions
- Lead experimental validation of quantum AI models using D-Wave and IBM Q systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information science principles
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Proven ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
