As a key member of our Future Technologies Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to develop hybrid quantum-neural systems. Your work will directly impact healthcare diagnostics, climate modeling, and autonomous systems while working in our state-of-the-art San Francisco lab with access to quantum annealing processors and neural cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum-neural hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI applications
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize research breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in machine learning architectures (transformers, GANs)
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- US citizenship required for government project clearances
