Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks
- Lead experimental validation of quantum machine learning models on D-Wave systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into commercial applications
- Publish breakthrough findings in leading journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure competitive research funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence principles
- Proven ability to secure research funding or industry partnerships
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures (preferred)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
