Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks with 1000+ qubit scalability
- Create error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum AI models into practical applications
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and top-tier AI conferences
- Secure $1M+ in quantum computing grants and partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdocs in quantum-AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of leading technical research teams
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
