Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Translate theoretical quantum physics models into practical AI applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure government/industry research grants
- Prototype quantum neural networks for predictive analytics platforms
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum-computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum supremacy
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500k+ preferred)
- Strong background in error correction and quantum decoherence mitigation
