Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals
- Partner with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into production systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Publication record in quantum algorithm development
- Deep understanding of Shor's, Grover's, and QAOA algorithms
- Security clearance eligibility (FBI/DoD clearance preferred)
