Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing solutions with 100+ qubit coherence capabilities
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum cryptography and optimization
- Design cryogenic control systems and photonic interconnect architectures
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum algorithms and hardware innovations
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum information theory and practical implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit or photonic quantum systems
