Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for practical commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical qubit systems
- Create quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Lead research on quantum machine learning frameworks
- Document quantum architectures for patent and publication purposes
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
