As a cornerstone of our Quantum Development Division, you'll translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical applications for finance, medicine, and AI. Our cross-functional teams leverage cutting-edge hardware from partners like IBM, Rigetti, and Google Quantum AI to solve previously impossible challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Architect scalable quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with cryogenic systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering and Nature Quantum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, PyQuil)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with quantum simulators (QASM, ProjectQ)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Security clearance for handling sensitive quantum encryption projects
